Over time the line fills and then one day it starts to actually leak out because it's became full of this residual water that's leaked into the line. It probably has a slow leak in it and whenever you run the pot side.water leaks into the one cup side slowly. My guess is the pump is bad or going bad. So then why when I opened it was it full? Which was probably leading to the leak.

What I noticed was that after it's cycle the line was clear. So then I switched over to the one cup and ran that. I could see water in the one cup sides water line. Only this time I pinched the one cup hose off with my fingers until the pot side was done. I ran the pot side again after I could see the hoses. I pulled the machine apart.that was fun.smh. My folks brew coffee in the morning and their house is kept pretty dark usually at that time so I can see how they wouldn't have seen something so obvious to me in broad daylight. I dried it and noticed that there was no other leaks except for this constant drip from there. I pressed start and immediately noticed water coming from the one cup side instead of pot side. I plugged it in at home filled it with coffee and put a paper towel underneath is to show me the drip if I didn't visually see it first.

They said they didn't know what was going on all they know is when they try to brew a pot of coffee on the daily that they end up with a mess of water on the counter. I'm usually the one called in to check things over or fix them. Thanks for making this thread.my parents have the same machine.
